Green Mario.

I’m not sure how to start this blog entry. Quite a lot happened over the last few days. It has been a right rollercoaster of emotions for #Nintendo fans around the globe.

On August 8, 2018, Nintendo broadcasted an exciting announcement and did a character reveal via Nintendo Direct, which is basically an online presentation of the trailer, for the new #SuperSmashBrosUltimate; or should I say the best game ever created!!

Now, if you missed the trailer video and went and looked at the twitter trend feed directly, like I did, you were probably super confused.

The fans of the games were left shocked after watching the footage of Luigi’s soul being ripped from his body.

For those of you who don’t know, Luigi Mario, 35, is a plumber by profession. He is the younger brother of the infamous plumber Mario Mario (yes, Mario’s real name is Mario Mario). This is a plumbing duo which is used to doing everything but plumbing.

During this new trailer, Luigi came face-to-face with a Grim Reaper, who caused him to faint in fear. As he dropped to his knees, the Reaper cut him in two.

Only after a few minutes of the trailer the fans took to twitter to mourn the death of their beloved Luigi.

Looking at the responses Nintendo quickly assured the fans of the Mario Brothers on twitter that Luigi was, in fact, alright.

Even though Luigi is considered the less popular Mario brother. Mario fans all around love and appreciate him the same.

Our Red Mario will always be incomplete without our Green Mario.
